This is a 3D Printed Oil Filter Wrench / Funnel designed for Subaru OEM oil filters*. Used to aid in the oil change process. Was designed specifically for Subaru EJ series motors that have the oil filter equipped upside down and under the vehicle. May work for other applications or aftermarket filters but please verify your oil filter diameter against Subaru OEM part numbers below. Subaru Oil Filter part number for reference: 15208AA12A OR 15208AA15A *NOTE: Subaru has changed their supplier for OEM blue filters. Be sure to check the part number on your filter matches the above Changing the oil on vehicles equipped with upside down oil filters can be a very messy task. The tools currently available on the market don’t have a way of containing the mess and keeping the technician clean. Can also be used as a funnel. The bottom of the wrench is designed to thread perfectly into your oil fill cap to provide easy no-spill filling. When the jobs complete, use the funnel to load your old oil into your oil quarts to give clean transportation for disposal. Due to the manufacture process the product will have a texture and layer lines visible with small surface blemishes possible. Options: Pick a color – Black or BlueMount/Drain – See note below If you select the the Option: Mount / Drain, You will also receive a mount and lid, that is used to store the funnel when not in use and allow any oil to drain out of the funnel. The lid helps keep the inside of the funnel from collecting debris, no reason to clean out the funnel anymore. Just pop it back in the mount and be done. The mount uses 4 very strong magnets to attach the unit to a metal structure or cabinet. You will need to source a 12oz Gatorade bottle to collect the dirty oil. Break the oil filter free by normal methods, slide the funnel on and continue to un-thread and let the oil drain without the mess on your hands.
